By using Prison💯, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use means you accept the current version.
Who can use this site
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, make a purchase, submit a pen pal profile, or apply as an artist.
Purchases
Some products on this site are sold directly through our checkout (processed by Stripe). Others link out to an external seller — when you see an external "Buy Now" link, that purchase is made on a third-party site under their own terms, pricing, and fulfillment; we aren't the seller for those items and aren't responsible for that transaction.
Digital downloads are made available immediately upon successful payment and all digital sales are final and non-refundable. See our Refund & Shipping Policy. Physical merchandise ships according to the estimate shown on the product page.
The pen pal directory
The directory is a listing service — we publish profiles submitted to us after a review step, but we do not vet, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any profile's contents, and we don't guarantee that anyone will respond to correspondence. Communicating with anyone listed in the directory is entirely at your own discretion and risk. We are not responsible for the conduct, statements, or actions of any person listed in or corresponding through information found on this site.
Artist profiles and content
If you're an approved artist, you're responsible for everything you upload — you confirm you own the rights to your images, audio, and video, or have permission to share them. By uploading, you give us a license to display that content on your public profile page. We can remove content or suspend a profile that violates these terms or infringes someone else's rights. See our DMCA Policy for how to report copyright concerns.
Consultations / bookings
Booked consultations are personal guidance based on individual experience, not legal, medical, or professional advice of any kind. Nothing said in a consultation should be treated as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney or other qualified professional.
Affiliate Program
Affiliates are independent participants, not employees or agents of Prison💯. Approval into the program is at our discretion and can be revoked at any time for violating these terms or misusing the program.
Earnings. Referral commissions and self-submission pricing are shown on the Affiliate page and may change; changes apply to future submissions, not ones already paid. Payouts are processed through Stripe Connect and require you to complete Stripe's own onboarding — we aren't responsible for delays caused by Stripe's verification process.
Connecting social accounts. If you connect a social media account to your affiliate dashboard, you authorize us to publish approved Spotlight pen pal submissions to that account automatically, alongside Prison💯's own official accounts. You can disconnect any account at any time from your dashboard, which stops future posting to it.
Your right to remove a post. Posts published to your connected account are on your account. You're free to delete, hide, or otherwise remove any individual post yourself at any time, the same as any other post you make there — we don't control or restrict that, and doing so doesn't affect your standing in the program.
No guarantee of reach or results. We don't guarantee views, followers, engagement, or income from participation. Social platforms change their algorithms, moderation rules, and terms without notice, and posting through a third-party tool (currently PostPeer) carries the ordinary risk of that platform's service interruptions.
Liability. We aren't responsible for actions taken by TikTok, Instagram, or any other platform against your account — including content removal, account suspension, or policy enforcement — even if it results from a post published through this program. You're responsible for your own account's compliance with each platform's terms of service.
Account termination
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, submit fraudulent information, or misuse the site. You can delete your own account at any time from your Account page.
Limitation of liability
This site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including reliance on any pen pal or artist profile, or any transaction completed through an external link.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
